Eclipse Glasses Recycling

We'll be recycling undamaged eclipse glasses at the Library until April 28th. If your eclipse glasses are in good condition with the lenses unscratched, turn them in at the Adult & Teen Services Reference Desk and we'll take them to an Astronomers Without Borders donation site. Astronomers Without Borders sends glasses to other countries for future eclipses. An annular solar eclipse will be visible in South America on October 2nd, 2024.
