MEDIA ADVISORY: Media Roundtable at EOC Tuesday, May 28

Escambia County Emergency Management invites members of the media for a meet-and-greet and media roundtable discussion at the Emergency Operations Center on Tuesday, May 28, at 1 p.m. A tour of the Public Safety building will be provided after the roundtable discussion.

About the Emergency Operations Center
The Escambia County Emergency Operations Center is a facility designed to serve as a local or regional support center. The EOC, when activated, is a central location where representatives of local government and private sector agencies convene during disaster situations to make decisions, set priorities, and coordinate resources for response and recovery. The Escambia County EOC was built to withstand 200 mph winds and is equipped with a generator sized to power all loads during an emergency.
