Drive by Shooting in North Seattle, One Victim Injured

Seattle Police Officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired in North Seattle, Saturday morning.

At approximately 3:15 a.m., Officers arrived in the 10500 block of Aurora Avenue Northeast and located multiple shell casings. While investigating, an additional 911 caller reported that he had been shot.

At around 3:25 a.m., Officers arrived at 12th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 70th Street and located a man with a gunshot wound. He was treated by the Seattle Fire Department and transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

Officers processed the scene and located a damaged vehicle and further evidence of a shooting. The vehicle was taken to the processing room. There are currently no suspects in custody.

The circumstances involving the shooting are under investigation and will be handled by Detectives from the Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
