Harbour Grace RCMP investigates two break and enters in Turks Cove

Harbour Grace RCMP is investigating two break, enter and thefts that recently occurred in Turk's Cove. Police are seeking assistance from the public in solving these crimes, which are believed to have occurred sometime between the evening of April 22 and the morning of April 23, 2024.

During one of the break and enters, suspect(s) forced entry into a cabin under construction and stole various tools and other items with an approximate value of $4,000.00.

A separate home, located nearby, was also struck by thieves. From inside the home, suspects stole a CPAP machine, two bracelets and a pellet gun.

Police believe the two crimes may be related.

Video surveillance in the area has identified a suspicious vehicle. Harbour Grace RCMP is looking to identify the owner and/or occupant(s) of this vehicle. The vehicle is a black four-door sedan, possibly a Volkswagen Jetta. Images and a video are attached.

The investigation is continuing.
