CDPH Issues Second Consumer Warning Not to Take Pyramid Wholesale Sexual Enhancement Supplements

The adulterated products were distributed under seven different brand names that vary in form and size. Pyramid Wholesale sold the products in bulk to distributors and retailers across California and out of state. All seven products listed below should not be consumed, regardless of lot numbers or date information on packaging. Product images are available online.

CDPH issued a similar warning last monthadvising the public not to consume 11 different dietary supplements by Pyramid Wholesale, which also contain undeclared prescription drugs. That warning is still in effect and a full list of products is available on CDPH's website.

Consumers experiencing any ill effects after consuming these products should consult their health care provider. Anyone finding these products for sale should call the CDPH Complaint Hotline at (800) 495-3232 or submit an electronic report.

The adulterated products were discovered by laboratory testing of samples collected during an ongoing investigation. Pyramid Wholesale, based in Los Angeles, is currently working with CDPH and U.S. Food and Drug Administration to issue a voluntary recall for these products. CDPH issued a Notice of Violation to Pyramid Wholesale and the ongoing investigation may result in additional enforcement action, including civil or criminal penalties.
