Public Works Seeks Public Input on Rockside Road Resurfacing Project

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH - The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works, the City of Maple Heights, and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) invite the public to provide comments regarding the rehabilitation of Rockside Road, from East 140th Street to the west side of the bridge over the Norfolk Southern railroad, east of Pennsylvania Avenue.

The project will include:

  • Resurfacing of the roadway surface
  • Pavement base repairs
  • Curb, sidewalk, and drive apron repairs, as needed
  • Curb ramp replacements to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements

The project will stay within the existing right-of-way and allow for traffic flow to be maintained during construction.

Questions and comments must be submitted by April 1, 2024, and may include the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, local economy, floodplains, and historic or cultural resources.
