Comment on Proposed Changes to the American Community Survey and the Puerto Rico Community Survey

Jennifer M. Haley and Michael Karpman provided public comment on proposed changes to measurement of health insurance coverage in the 2025 American Community Survey (ACS) and Puerto Rico Community Survey (PRCS). The comment expressed concerns about the timing of the changes, the potential of the proposed changes to exacerbate current measurement challenges, and needs for further research to refine alternative coverage questions.
