MEDINA COUNTY- (Thursday, May 23, 2024) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Medina County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting and is subject to change.
Leatherman Road bridge repairs - NEW IMPACTS - Leatherman Road in the city of Wadsworth, between Blake Road and Thelma Drive, will close Monday June 3 for 30 days for a bridge repair project. The detour route will be Leatherman Road north to Reimer Road west to SR 57 south to College Street/Greenwich Road to Leatherman Road, and reverse. Estimated completion: Tuesday, June 2, 2024State Route 18 major reconstruction -State Route 18, from just west of Alber Drive to Nettleton Road, will have single lane closures as crews widen and reconstruct the roadway.NEW IMPACTS

State Route 18 bridge replacements -State Route 18, between SR 83 and Bryenton Road, will have single lane closures for 225 days to complete project work. Traffic will be maintained by temporary traffic signals. The lanes of traffic will be narrowed to 12' width max. Estimated completion: November 2024State Route 83 resurfacing - State Route 83, from the Outlet Mall drive to the Lodi Corporation limits, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: September 2024State Route 162 resurfacing -State Route 162, from SR 94 to Medina Line Road, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained utilizing flaggers when necessary. Resurfacing work will begin after all SR 162 culvert replacements are complete.
