MINNEAPOLIS (March 16, 2023) - Allina Health's Abbott Northwestern Hospital has been named to Newsweek's World's Best Hospitals 2023, awarded by Newsweek and Statista Inc. It is the fourth year in a row that Abbott Northwestern Hospital has been named to the list. Abbott Northwestern Hospital is also ranked in Newsweek's World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2023in all 11 rated specialties.

• Hospital recommendations from Medical Experts: an international online survey sent to more than 80,000 healthcare professionals;
• Patient Experience: survey of patient satisfaction with hospitalization;
• Patient Reported Outcome Measures:surveys measuring patient satisfaction with hospitals; and
• Hospital Quality Metrics: patient safety, hygiene measures, wait times and quality of treatment.

Abbott Northwestern Hospital has been ranked in all 11 of the medical specialties in Newsweek's World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2023including being rated 22^nd overall worldwide in Cardiology. In addition to the Cardiology ranking, Abbott Northwestern was also ranked:
