Quotes
Christian Lundgaard (#45 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Honda) will start third: "With the last couple of races with these engines, Honda has done a great job maximizing what we've had. We've had a really strong car, but the Honda engine has really helped put us in that position. It's the last race before the month of May, so we really have to maximize what we have here and build the momentum. I'm happy for the support and to be the first Honda!"
Felix Rosenqvist (#60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda) qualified fifth: "The fast six streak continues! That was a helluva day for us. We had to do an engine change going into qualifying, so we had the whole car in pieces basically an hour ago. We were struggling a little bit in practice, so we went into qualifying with some new changes and they worked! This really feels like a pole for us. It was a really good turnaround from the guys at Meyer Shank Racing. And the new engine from Honda was really good out of the box. We just made the lap when we needed to!"
Marcus Armstrong (#11 Chip Ganassi Racing Honda) qualified sixth: "It's great to see the progress we're making. It was cool! I wanted more, and we're capable of more, but I guess we're just saving our best for tomorrow. I'm really proud of the team because they gave me a really good car. We've just been making incremental gains throughout the year. Soon we're going to be right up there so I'm just really proud of everyone."
