Agricultural consent was also granted in April 2023, and the final condition under the Agreement to Lease was met in December 2023, with the lease being ratified at the Royal Court on 19 January 2024.

Chris Philpott commented: "Carey Olsen is delighted to have advised Jersey Electricity on the Island's first ground-mounted solar farm project. This marks the initial step in the company's planned series of projects aimed at increasing Jersey's energy independence and diversifying its energy sources."
