State Police in Rochester arrest a 19-year-old for criminal posse...

On April 15, 2024, at approximately 8:10 p.m., troopers from SP Rochester initiated a traffic stop on a 2023 Dodge Durango for a moving violation on Brown Street in the city of Rochester.

Subsequent to an investigation, the operator of the vehicle, Chad E. Brown, age 19, of Rochester, NY, was found to be in possession of a Glock 9mm handgun, which was loaded with a 16-round magazine and one in the chamber.

Brown was transported to SP Rochester for processing. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd-Loaded Firearm (C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (D Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3rd (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and traffic infractions. He was taken to Monroe County Jail for CAP arraignment.
