Four Seasons Hotel Denver Awarded Michelin Key in the Inaugural Michelin Guide’s Hotel Category

Four Seasons Hotel Denver, a luxurious icon in the heart of the Theatre District, has been awarded a Michelin Key in the Michelin Guide's first ever hotel category. Four Seasons Hotel Denver was one of only eight hotels in Colorado and one of three hotels in Denver to be awarded this prestigious honour.

Regional Vice President and General Manager Thierry Kennel shares, "Our team is extremely proud of receiving a Michelin Key. Receiving this type of recognition is a testament to the dedication and personalized care our wonderful staff at Four Seasons Hotel Denver provides our guests each and every day. We are grateful for the professionalism of our entire team and top tier amenities, which makes Four Seasons Hotel Denver such a special place for guests to call their home away from home."

"It's a fine line Four Seasons walks," notes Michelin Guide's Point Of View. "On the one hand, luxury guests expect meticulous service and a laundry list of upscale amenities. But if the experience is too consistent, it risks lapsing into sameness. The Four Seasons challenge has been maintaining its high standards while still managing to tailor the experience to the locality. Four Seasons Denver is a case in point: from this spire-topped skyscraper, with its far-ranging views of the Rockies and the plains, it would be quite a feat if you managed to forget where you were."

"Inside, stacked stone and earth tones are everywhere, but they've been given a loving polish. Rather than overdoing some old-West or mountain-lodge theme, the hotel has commissioned local artists to provide over 1,000 original sculptures and paintings accent every room. This is bold, contemporary stuff: weighty bronze sculptures, oil abstractions, metalwork, not homespun sunset kitsch. The 239 rooms and suites refuse to be dwarfed by the distant peaks. They're spacious, wide open, and even the plasma screens are bigger than normal. Corner rooms make the most of the plentiful Colorado sunshine, and the suites verge on the residential. The fact that there's only one restaurant - EDGE, an American steakhouse - feels more like a vote of confidence than a limitation. The bar offers tapas and local microbrews, with service that extends to the third-floor rooftop pool."

Explore a variety of sporting events and concerts across the Mile High City, feel the warmth of family-friendly performing arts classics or hit the mountains just a short drive away from Four Seasons Hotel Denver. About Michelin Keys

On April 24, 2024, the Michelin Guide revealed the brand new list of One, Two, and Three Key hotels in the United States. In this first ever announcement of Michelin Keys in the United States, hotels in Atlanta, California, Chicago, Colorado, Florida, New York, and Washington DC were eligible for the distinction. This announcement of the most outstanding hotels in the country comes four years into a comprehensive refresh of our hotel selection. These are places that significantly add to your experience as a traveller, each vetted and judged excellent in five categories: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the guest experience in a particular setting. Which brings us back to the Keys. The culmination of countless hours of evaluation by our team of experts, the Key hotels below represent the highlights of our broader selection. Like the Michelin Stars for restaurants, the Michelin Keys are our most outstanding hotels.
