Rep. Windhorst and Sen. Fowler Join Metropolis PD and MCDAC for Successful Prescription Drug Drop Off

METROPOLIS - State Rep. Patrick Windhorst says he is proud to have joined Senator Dale Fowler, the Massac County Drug Awareness Coalition, and host Metropolis Police Department for a successful free prescription drug drop off event this past Saturday.

"I am always glad to join with my friend Senator Fowler and to partner with the Massac County Drug Awareness Coalition and the Metropolis Police Department as part of National Drug Take Back Day," Windhorst said. "We are able to offer this service free of charge, and folks are able to safely turn in unwanted, unused, or expired prescriptions, vitamins, and other medical items. It helps clear out shelf space and to keep unsafe chemicals out of our landfills and water supply."
