Ninety-two percent of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) stayed at the same speed this month on the Netflix ISP Speed Index, our monthly update on which ISPs provide the best prime-time Netflix streaming experience.

In Kuwait, BOnline and Zajil Telecom each increased from 2.2 to 2.4 Mbps since March's results. Both Copaco in Paraguay and Reytel in Honduras climbed from 2.0 to 2.2 Mbps, and Wancom in Pakistan ascended from 2.4 to 2.6 Mbps. Meanwhile, Viettel in Vietnam experienced a decrease of 0.4 Mbps, dropping from 2.6 to 2.2 Mbps.

Four countries experienced an overall decrease of 0.2 Mbps this month: South Africa and Vietnam fell from 2.8 to 2.6 Mbps, while Argentina and Uruguay dropped from 3.0 to 2.8 Mbps.

The Netflix ISP Speed Index is a measure of prime-time Netflix performance on a particular ISP and not a measure of overall performance for other services or data that may travel across the specific ISP network. Higher Netflix performance generally means better picture quality, quicker start times, and fewer interruptions. We also created a separate tool to check your current download performance: Visit https://FAST.com on any internet browser or download the FAST Speed Test iOSor Androidapp.
