Three-Time Emmy Winner Added to Broome County’s Wall of Fame

Brian Frey Receives Star at Forum Theatre

(BINGHAMTON, NY) - Broome County Executive Jason Garnar joined the Friends of the Forum today to announce Brian Frey as the next recipient of a star on the Wall of Fame at the Forum Theatre. Frey is a 1980 graduate of Binghamton North High School, and a lifelong resident of Broome County.

His journey began with an internship at WBNG-TV, and an exclusive internship with WGBH-Boston. For over 30 years, he dedicated himself to WSKG as a writer and producer. His talent has been recognized with 12 New York State Broadcasters Awards.

As a screen writer, film maker, and producer, Frey's documentaries and work have won three Emmy Awards, as well as receiving 12 Emmy nominations. His work "The Flood of '35" won "Best Documentary" and "Best Writing," and "Glen Curtis, the Forgotten Eagle" won "Best Documentary."
