Foshan Extra-Large Bridge of Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High Speed Railway Completes Successful Hoisting of First Steel Beam

On January 21, the first steel beam of the Foshan Extra-Large Bridge on the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High Speed Railway, constructed by China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group Co., Ltd., was successfully hoisted, marking the comprehensive commencement of the bridge's steel beam installation. The Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High Speed Railway has a total length of approximately 400 kilometers, starting from Guangzhou Railway Station, passing through Foshan, Zhaoqing, and other cities, and terminating at Zhanjiangbei Railway Station. Designed with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the railway will further enhance the rail transportation system in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area upon completion.
