Dover Motor Speedway's 10 campgrounds started welcoming guests on Wednesday as the Monster Mile prepares to host America's best drivers for the 106th time during its April 26-28 NASCAR tripleheader weekend.
Six Monster Mile campgrounds are sold out ahead of the weekend activities, which begin Thursday outside the grandstands with the opening of the WHITE LIGHTNING Bar + Arcade area near the Monster Monument.
The centerpiece of the on-track action is the Würth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race (2 p.m., FS1, PRN, SiriusXM) on Sunday, April 28, the 106th NASCAR Cup Series race in Dover's history, which dates to 1969.
Dover Motor Speedway's latest NASCAR tripleheader weekend has attracted fans from 48 states (plus Washington, D.C.) as well as the following countries/territories: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This weekend also marks the debut of Dover Motor Speedway's improved and streamlined security and admission perimeters, allowing easier guest entry into the facility. The highlights include:
