Gunshot wound 2100 Block of Atlantic Avenue

​On Sunday, May 9, 2021 at 11:25 p.m., Emergency Communications received a call for a gunshot wound at 2100 block of Atlantic Avenue outside the Edge Bar. When officers arrived on scene they located an adult male suffering with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The male was was transported by EMS to a local hospital. Officers immediately canvassed the scene for the suspect. Detectives responded and are investigating this case as it is still very active. There is no suspect information available at this time. This case remains under investigation by members of the Department's Homicide Unit.
