04/02/2024 - Leander City Council meets on the first and third Thursday of each month. Some agenda items for the April 4 meeting include:

• Parkland dedication and park improvements (briefing workshop at 6 p.m.) - City Council will receive a presentation regarding amendments to Parkland Dedication, Park Improvements and Parkland Fee regulations and requirements.
• Water Update (Item 8) - City staff will provide an update on the BCRUA raw water pipeline replacement and transitioning back to Phase 2 water conservation.
• Vape shops(item 24) - City Council will consider appropriate zoning districts and location criteria for vape shops.
• Public hearings (Items 19-22) - City Council will hold four public hearings during Thursday's meeting:
  • Zoning Case Z-23-0072 - Adopt the Tiger Mountain Planned Unit Development (PUD), 100 Mockingbird Hill [
  • Comprehensive Plan Case CPA-24-0010 and Zoning Case Z-23-0082 - Oakmont Planned Unit Development (PUD), east of CR 274 and Ronald W. Reagan Boulevard
  • Zoning Case Z-24-0106 - Amend the Hero Way and Main Street Medical Office Planned Unit Development (PUD)
  • Subdivision Case CP-23-0021 - Adopt the Valor Schools Concept Plan and Preliminary Plat, northwest of Kauffman Loop and CR 267
