Appeal to locate man missing from Lidcombe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Lidcombe.

Rahim Barati, aged 28, was last seen on Adderley Street East near Parramatta Road, Lidcombe, about 12pm today (Monday 12 February 2024).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with autism and is non-verbal.

Rahim is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 150cm tall with slim build, greying black hair and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a mustard-coloured shirt and grey pants.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
