Please see the below update on Victoria's severe weather, including a 3pm flood update and an 11am forecast update.

What: Flood watch current, flood warning to be issued
A Flood Watch is current for Gippsland and parts of North East and central Victoria
Potential for minor to moderate flooding across West Gippsland and Mitchell and Yarra River catchments from late today into Thursday. It is possible some major flooding may develop in these areas.
The first Flood Warning will be issued in the next hour at bom.gov.au.
