London Assembly Party Group budgets 2024-25

In accordance with budget arrangements under the Greater London Authority (GLA) Act 1999 (as amended), the Assembly is responsible for the allocation of resources provided as part of the overall budget decision for 2024-25.

The proposed party Group allocations are based on a proportional allocation of the Member Services budget, with the proposed budget for each Group reflecting their number of seats on the Assembly as a whole.

The 2024-25 budget for the London Assembly and Secretariat was considered and agreed by the Committee at its meeting on 21 March 2024, subject to a review of the budget allocations to the Party Groups following the 2024 GLA elections.

Following the changes to the make up of the London Assembly and its Party Groups after the election, the GLA Oversight Committee will meet tomorrow to review the revised allocation being proposed.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 22 May from 2pm, in the Chamber at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube.
