Ascom preliminary results 2023

Ascom achieved revenue growth of 5.5 % at constant currencies and a double-digit EBITDA margin of 10.1 % for fiscal year 2023 based on preliminary unaudited figures.

Ascom generated net revenue of CHF 297.3 million for fiscal year 2023 (2022: CHF 297.4 million) which reflects an increase of 5.5 % at constant currencies and a flat development at actual currencies compared to the previous year, based on preliminary unaudited figures.

Incoming orders came to CHF 318.6 million (2022: CHF 335.7 million) representing a flat development at constant currencies and a decline of 5.1 % at actual currencies. The order backlog remained at a solid level of CHF 276.4 million as of year-end 2023 (31.12.2022: CHF 276.5 million).

Ascom achieved for fiscal year 2023 an EBITDA of CHF 30.1 million leading to an EBITDA margin of 10.1 % (2022: CHF 23.9 million with a margin of 8.0%). Despite the softer economic environment in the second half-year, Ascom delivered an EBITDA margin increase thanks to the improved business model and better cost management.

Ascom has a solid net cash position of CHF 24.7 million as of year-end 2023 (31.12.2022: CHF 16.6 million).

During the financial year 2023, Ascom invested further in the development and expansion of its software platforms and made progress in the execution of its strategy to become the leading enabling platform in Healthcare and Enterprise as a state-of-the-art provider of digitalization solutions for critical communications and collaboration.
