The bodies of the military servicemen delivered from the occupied territories of Abkhazia were buries with Military honour.

The bodies of the four military servicemen missing during the Armed Conflict of Abkhazia were transferred from the occupied territory of Abkhazia and buried with a military honour at the Brotherhood Cemetery. Commander of the Georgian Defence Forces Major General Giorgi Matiashvili and other high-ranking officials of the Defense Forces attended the funeral ceremony.

Today, Minister of Defence of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze attended the civil funeral at Holy Trinity Cathedral and expressed his condolences and support to their family members.

The bodies of 13 missing people were transferred from Abkhazia on April 22.
