According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in November 2022 is estimated at US$ 4.27 billion, bringing the total export value of the first 11 months of 2022 to US$ 49.04 billion, up 11.8% over the same period in 2021. In which, the export value of agricultural products is estimated at 20.73 billion USD, up 6.6%; The export value of livestock products was estimated at 361.4 million USD, down 8.4%; Seafood export value is estimated at 10.14 billion USD, up 27%; The export value of forest products was estimated at 15.59 billion USD, up 8.2%; The export value of production inputs was estimated at 2.22 billion USD, up 38.1%; The export value of salt is estimated at 4.5 million USD, up 66.8%.

It is estimated that the total export value of Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first 11 months of 2022 to markets in Asia increased by 15.7%, reaching 21.9 billion USD; America increased by 4.3%, reaching 13.44 billion USD; Europe increased by 11.5%, reaching 5.56 billion USD; Oceania increased by 22%, reaching 848 million USD; Africa decreased by 4.3%, reaching 820 million USD. The share of Asia, the Americas, Europe, Oceania and Africa in the total export value of Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first 11 months of 2022 is: 44.7%, respectively. ; 27.4%; 11.3%; 1.7% and 1.7% .
The United States, China and Japan are the three largest export markets for Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery products. Export value to the US market accounted for 25%, up 2.7% over the same period in 2021; China accounted for 18.9% (+9.5%), and Japan accounted for 7.9% (+28.3%).
Regarding imports, MARD forecasts the total import turnover of agriculture, forestry and fishery products in November 2022 is estimated at 4.07 billion USD, bringing the total import value in the first 11 months of 2022 to 41.2 billion USD, up 6.9% over the same period last year. in 2021. In which, the import value of agricultural products is estimated at USD 25.2 billion, up 3.9%; Import value of livestock products is estimated at 3 billion USD, down 3.2%; Import value of aquatic products was estimated at USD 2.5 billion, up 39.7%; Import value of forest products was estimated at 2.89 billion USD, up 4%; Import value of production inputs was estimated at 7.6 billion USD, up 14.9%; Import value of salt was estimated at 37.8 million USD, up 114.4 %.
Estimated total import value of agriculture, forestry and fishery products in the first 11 months of 2022 of Vietnam from markets in the Americas increased by 11%, reaching 10.34 billion USD, Africa decreased by 27.1%, reaching 1 .33 billion USD, Asia up 6.5%, reaching 12.6 billion USD, Europe up 11.1%, reaching 1.76 billion USD and Oceania by 41.7%, reaching 3.05 billion USD. The market share of the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania regions in the total import value of Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first 10 months of 2022 respectively are 25.1%; 3.2%, 30.6%; 4.3% and 7.4%.
Argentina, China and the United States are the 3 largest markets supplying agricultural, forestry and fishery products to Vietnam in the first 11 months of 2022, with a market share in total import value estimated respectively at 8.8% (import value increased by 8.7%), 8.6% (+23.8%), and 8.5% (+4.8%)./.
