Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a crack sealing project is set to begin this week on multiple routes in Bradford and Sullivan Counties.
Beginning Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 9:00 PM, the contractor, Vestal Asphalt, the project will begin on the following routes: starting with Route 1069 (Pitney Street) in Sayre Borough.
Bradford County
Sullivan County
Work on sections of Routes 6, 220, 1043, 1056, 4022, 1066, 1068, 1069, 1070, 1072 will be performed between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. There are no work time restrictions on the route in Sullivan County. Motorists can expect single lane restrictions with flagging where work is being performed.
Vestal Asphalt is the prime contractor for the $848,000 crack sealing project. Work on this project is expected to be completed in December of 2023, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
