In the energy company, in advance, all forces and means were transferred to combat readiness. The Nizhnovenergo and Kirovenergo branches introduced special operating modes. The deployed headquarters completely controlled the situation: interaction with municipal authorities, regional and federal departments was strengthened, communication with residents was established.
601 people in 196 crews with the use of 225 specialized vehicles fought around the clock with the consequences of the bad weather. In the Kirov region, in addition to local crews, their colleagues from Kostromaenergo, Marienergo and Udmurtenergo are participating in the return of electricity. The work of the power engineers was complicated by incessant thunderstorms with lightning, showers, winds with gusts of up to 20 metres per second.
