The keynote will complement other events at the Green Schools Conference.

Attend the 2024 Green Schools Conference (GSC) for renewed inspiration and viable solutions to further green, healthy and equitable schools and climate education.

Keynote speaker

In an inspiring keynote presentation to jump-start interdisciplinary education on March 6 at GSC, visual storyteller Matika Wilbur will share her experiences traveling Indian country. With a focus on equity with sustainable undertones, Wilbur's Project 562 depicts the 562 federally recognized Native American tribal communities and amplifies their historically silenced voices and stories through a collection of breathtaking images. This multiyear, national project celebrates Native American culture and life and counteracts the one-dimensional portrayals of Indigenous cultures presented in mainstream media.
