Library to reopen for limited hours starting tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 21

The UAA/APU Consortium Library will reopen Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 8 a.m. However, the library will have adjusted hours this week:

  • Wednesday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Our facilities team is still working on a timeline for repairing the water main break identified yesterday. We will keep you updated via email and the RAVE Guardian app as we know more. We are hopeful the library will be back to normal hours of operation by next week. We will communicate an update before the end of this week.

Please note that due to the water main break, some restrooms in the library will be out of order. There will be signage posted directing building occupants toward the available restrooms in the library and in the Social Sciences Building (SSB) adjacent to the library.

Additionally, the fire suppression system is not functional in some areas of the building, so a fire watch will be established to patrol the building. The smoke detection and fire alarm systems in the building are still operational. As always, in case of fire, call 911 and follow all posted emergency procedures.

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding.
