U.S. Travel to Convene Transportation, Technology, Govt. Leaders For Future of Travel Mobility Summit

The U.S. Travel Association announced it will host its first-ever Future of Travel Mobilitysummit, a day-long event on Tuesday, October 26, convening executives in the business, transportation and technology sectors, together with policymakers and administration officials.

Held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., the event will explore issues central to the coming decade of travel mobility and the traveler experience, including sustainable travel, seamless and secure travel, and innovative and emerging travel. Speakers will address the vital intersection of business innovation and public policy with the goal of accelerating action on critical mobility initiatives that strengthen core American industries.

Key sessions will include "The Green American Road Trip," "From Curbside to Cruising Altitude," and "Connecting Cities in Minutes With Hyperloop."

Invitations are pending with select speakers, but those confirmed (as of 10/20/21) for the Oct. 26th event include:

The summit is a key step in advancing the association's goal of building more modernized travel infrastructure systems and increasing the industry's global competitiveness beyond the pandemic.

COVID-19 Vaccination/Test Results

To ensure a healthy and safe event, all attendees - including media guests - are required to submit either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result, administered by a medical professional and taken within 72 hours of event check-in.

To expedite entry, U.S. Travel Association has contracted with CLEAR Health Pass to provide easy proof of the required screening.
