Hakob Arshakyan takes part in Annual Event of Pan Armenian Youth Futbol Association in Los Angeles

On March 24-26, the RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan took part in the Junior Tournament Qualifying and the summary event of the Pan Armenian Youth Futbol Association-PAYFA in the city of Los Angeles (USA).

As a result of the previous year work of the Association, tangible outcomes were registered: 3 out of 8 juniors who came to Armenia were included in the U-14 National Team of Armenia. In general, 12 juniors in different age groups, in the Armenian national teams.

Dozens of our compatriot juniors living abroad dream to have their contribution in the development of the Armenian football.

During the event, the professional coaching staff chooses the best and sends to Armenia to take part in the selection process of the different age national teams and in the international tournaments. Until the end of April due to the efforts of the Association 6 more juniors from the USA, Russia and Germany will leave for Armenia to take part in the gatherings and international tournaments.

The events are held with the cooperation of the Football Federation of Armenia.

During the evening, the World Champion Youri Djorkaeff, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and the President of the Football Federation of Armenia Armen Melikbekyan sent video messages. The footballer of the National team Yura Movsisyan, the Chairman of the SADA Systems Company Hovig Safoian, the Executive Director of the Arpinet LLC Company Armen Muradyan, entrepreneurs, coaches, footballers, football fans having contribution in the development of the Armenian Football participated in the event.

During his short visit to the USA Hakob Arshakyan also met with the members of the board of The Armenian Society of Fellows, scientists and entrepreneurs, discussed the perspectives of the scientific-technological development of Armenia.

Meetings also took place with the Head of the City Council of Los Angeles Paul Gregorian, the representatives of the community, a wide scope of issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
