MKE ACHIEVES ACI AIRPORT HEALTH ACCREDITATION

MILWAUKEE (MAY 25, 2021) -
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is being recognized for its efforts to ensure the health and safety of travelers during COVID-19 by becoming accredited in the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Health Accreditation program.

The program recognizes airports that demonstrate they are maintaining safe and hygienic facilities by following
the health measures established through ACI and ICAO recovery guidelines, along with industry best
practices.

'Since the beginning of COVID-19, passenger health and safety has been the top priority at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport,' said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. 'This is a very well-deserved accreditation for the Airport which will continue to serve as a reminder that we are all committed to moving Milwaukee forward with safety in mind at all times.'

MKE was evaluated and accredited for its commitment to overall cleaning and disinfecting, physical distancing,
staff protection, passenger communications, and more. 'This accreditation reflects all of the hard work that our
Airport staff put into maintaining a safe environment this past year,' said Airport Director Brian Dranzik. 'It's
rewarding to see these efforts recognized, and we hope this accreditation serves as a reminder that our
passengers can continue to trust MKE as traffic rebounds and we all look to the future of travel and
recovery.'
