Rep. Zeldin Statement on CUNY Faculty Union’s Anti-Israel Resolution

PATCHOGUE, NY - Today, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and Co-Chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus, released the following statement on Twitter after the City University of New York Professional Staff Congress (PSC-CUNY) voted Thursday to adopt a harshly and ignorantly worded anti-Israel resolution.

Congressman Zeldin also commented on and released emails here provided to him by a union whistleblower outlining why union members were supporting the resolution.

In 2016, Governor Cuomo signed an Executive Order to forbid New York State from doing business with entities that support BDS. The state is also required to continuously monitor and maintain a list of institutions that support BDS. Congressman Zeldin commented on that here.
