CIETAC Notice on the Recent Work Arrangement

According to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to reduce the movements and gatherings of people and effectively prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission ("CIETAC") has decided after research and consideration that from 28 November to 2 December 2022, to suspend the on-site case filing consultation and hearing reception of CIETAC headquarters. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Case Filing

Please follow the guidance of CIETAC Arbitration Rules and the official website of CIETAC (http://www.cietac.org) to submit the request for arbitration online via the "CIETAC Online Case Filing System" (http://online.cietac.org) or by courier (Address: 6/F, CCOIC Building, 2 Huapichang Hutong, Xicheng District, Beijing, Postcode: 100035, Recipient: Case Registration Office) (In order to ensure timely processing, it is advocated to submit the request for arbitration online mainly).

2. Hearing

For on-site hearings originally scheduled during this period, CIETAC will arrange for online hearings through the CIETAC Smart Hearing Platform (https://kt.cietac.org) or postpone the hearings in accordance with the Arbitration Rules and the circumstances of the cases. Regarding changes to the hearing arrangements, the case managers will contact the parties or their representatives and arbitrators by phone and / or email in advance.

3. Other On-site Matters
