Community Input Sessions Planned for Proposed Bond 2024 Program and Type A Sales Tax Reauthorization

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi invites residents from all five Council Districts to participate in community input sessions with city officials regarding the Proposed Bond 2024 Program and Type A Sales Tax Reauthorization. These sessions are part of the City's commitment to community engagement, ensuring that residents' voices are integrated into the future development plans of Corpus Christi.

The Proposed Bond 2024 Program is a comprehensive initiative to enhance the quality of life for all Corpus Christi residents. The program outlines significant investments across critical areas of the City's infrastructure: streets, parks, public safety facilities, and public facilities.

The Proposed Type A Sales Tax Reauthorization plans to reallocate existing sales taxes to improve city-owned buildings and assets in the Sports, Entertainment, and Arts (SEA) District. It also could include maintenance and improvements to the downtown seawall flood control structures.

Residents are encouraged to attend the sessions in any district to share their thoughts, concerns, and priorities regarding the proposed improvements.
