Health Care Symposium: Oct. 25 Career Fair at Pip Moyer for Students Alongside Moderated Discussion of Health Issues

ANNAPOLIS, MD (October 20, 2021) - On October 25 from 6 to 8 p.m., the City will co-host a Health Care Symposium at Pip Moyer Recreation Center, 273 Hilltop Lane. The symposium will be a career fair for high school and middle school students while also creating an opportunity for residents to engage in a general discussion of health issues. The event is free and open to the public.

"We are always excited when an opportunity such as this focuses on ourhigh school and middle school students," said Alderwoman Rhonda Pindell Charles. "It's never too early for our youth to start thinking about their future. And for our residents to have this time to talk more about health is certainly very timely and apropos. This event is truly a win-win."

The symposium is brought to you by Annapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Mary Beth Paganelli (Realtor) and the Future of Human Health and Medicine Organization as well as the City of Annapolis - Office of Mayor Gavin Buckley with Alderwoman Rhonda Pindell Charles.

"It's an opportunity for teens to learn more about behavioral and mental health, cardiology, urology, nursing, maternal health and more," said Paxton Paganelli, one of the organizers of the event. Paxton is the founder of Future of Human Health and Medicine Organization and a graduate of University of Maryland.
