Man Wanted in Assault Investigation, King Street West and Dufferin Street area, Image Released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in an assault investigation.

It is reported that:

• On December 18 and December 23, 2023, and on April 8, 2024, a man assaulted the victim in their home
• the man fled the scene prior to police arriving
• the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries

Lerondo Cortel Smith, 37, of no fixed address, is wanted for:

1. Assault with a Weapon
2. Uttering Threats
3. Assault
4. Assault by Choking

He is described 5'11", 161 lbs., with black curly hair and dark colored eyes.
