Hillsboro High School

Yesterday, I toured the New Hillsboro High School that's currently under construction. I also had the opportunity to speak with the High School American Government class about being a State Representative and talked with Mr. Morford, the Driver's Ed Teacher, about legislation concerning new drivers.

I want to thank everyone from the Hillsboro High School for the tour and the students for a great conversation. I look forward to a future visit once the New High School is open!

Pawnee Farm to School Lunch Program

The Sangamon County Board approved a resolution that created the Farm to School Pilot Program. This program is aimed to build a foundation for local famers and schools to offer healthier meal options for students.
