The Innovation Quarters and the Regional Business Centre, in partnership with Laurentian University's entrepreneurship support hub, the Foundry, are proud to present Homegrown Ventures 2025, a local entrepreneurial showcase aimed at inspiring budding businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Jim Fielding Innovation & Commercialization Space at Laurentian University.
"Entrepreneurship is one of the key reasons Greater Sudbury is such a vibrant, innovative, and resilient community," said City of Greater Sudbury Mayor Paul Lefebvre. "Homegrown Ventures is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our local business leaders and inspire the next generation. The dedication of our entrepreneurs is helping to shape a brighter future for Greater Sudbury."
Homegrown Ventures 2025 features three accomplished local business leaders:
These entrepreneurs will share their journeys, challenges and successes through engaging presentations and a dynamic panel discussion. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during an interactive Q&A session, gaining real-world insights from seasoned entrepreneurs.

The showcase will conclude with a post-event networking session, allowing attendees to connect and build relationships within Sudbury's growing business ecosystem over light refreshments.
