The fair hosts over 500 commodity exhibition stands. Citizens can not only purchase festive spring festival goods, and special agricultural and sideline products, but also taste the special cuisine from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, China's three northeastern provinces and China's southern area.
In March 2023, Beijing's first China-Europe Railway Express departed from Mafang Station in Pinggu District, heading directly to Moscow, the capital of Russia. Leveraging the return trip of the CR Express, Pinggu District opened the "Russian Imports Pavilion". It is reported that during the twelfth month of lunar calendar, the Mafang Fair featured a Russian commodity sales stand, offering citizens the opportunity to purchase Russian products such as Dalieba (a traditional Russian bread), red sausages, candies, and flour on the spot.
