Men Charged In Relation To More Than 30 Burglaries, Kirklees

Three men have now been charged as part of a Kirklees Police investigation into more than 30 burglary offences.

The South Yorkshire men were set to appear before Leeds Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday March 28) charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

The charges relate to thirty-four offences committed in the rural Kirklees area and two in the Nottinghamshire area.

The males due to appear were Taylor Cawley (19) of Retford Road, Sheffield, Cohen Skinner (19) of Norman Croft Way, Sheffield and Aaron Calladine (26) of Sopwell Road, Rotherham.

Officers arrested suspects following an investigation into the crashing of a stolen Audi S3 in the Holmfirth area, in the early hours of Saturday 27th January 2024.

Police urge anyone who has been a victim of burglary to report it on 101 or, if the offence is ongoing, on 999 so officers can attend as quickly as possible.
