Subject Wanted For Attempted Murder

New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a subject wanted for three counts of attempted murder and the illegal use of a dangerous weapon.

Wanted is Donnell Beard (pictured), Black male, DOB 01/04/2000.

According to investigators, at about 1:53 p.m. on May 23, 2024 Donnell Beard was in the 800 block of Canal Street when he opened fire on a crowd of people. Three individuals were wounded by the gunfire. His last known address is 1804 Wagner Street, New Orleans, LA 70114. A warrant is on file for his arrest.
