April 27 - Three Ways to Get Involved!

On April 27, we will celebrate Arbor Day & Earth Day by providing THREE ways to get involved & help Keep NCH Beautiful!

• 9am - 12pm - City Clean Up Day
  • Volunteers should check in by 11am at 1586 Goodman Ave (NCH Senior Center)
  • All supplies will be provided
  • Light refreshments & water will be available for volunteers.
• 10pm - 12pm - Arbor Day Celebration
  • Volunteers should check in by 10am at 1586 Goodman Ave (NCH Senior Center)
  • Join us to plant trees to beautify our city!
  • The NCH Historical Society and other local organizations will have informational booths for you to browse.
• 10am - 12pm - Drive & Drop Recycling Event: Soft Plastics
  • 1500 W Galbraith Rd (Former City Admin Office Parking Lot)
  • We are thrilled to be working with Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub as well as Hamilton County ReSource for this event.
  • There is no need to get out of your car! Simply drive in, and we will unload your clean & dry'hard to recycle' soft plastics from your car for you.
  • Tell your friends & family! NCH residency is NOT required for this event.
  • Here is a list of acceptable items. All items must be clean and dry.

    • Plastic pallet wrap
    • Bread bags
    • Dry cleaning bags
    • Plastic newspaper sleeves
    • Plastic package overwrap
    • Bubble wrap
    • Plastic shipping mailers
    • Air pillows
