The JKL Motofest 2023 moped event for families will take place on Saturday, 17.6.2023, from 12:00 to 17:00 in Jyväskylä Killeri

The purpose of the event is to support safe moped hobbies for youth. In the event, a safe environment has been organized for young people, where riding mopeds takes place in a closed area. The program includes, among other things, demonstration rides in the stunt area, audience rides on the straight, and equipment exhibitions. Those under the age of 18 participating in the event may inform their guardians of their participation in the JKL Motofest program.

- It is an event for the whole family, the purpose of which is to introduce moped riding as a hobby and create a positive image of it, says Anna-Bodil Boe, the responsible youth director of regional youth work. In addition to the youth services, the planning of the event is supported by urban construction services, the rescue service of the Central Finland well-being services county, and the Central Finland police department.

The event is organized in cooperation of young people, companies, organizations, the police, the rescue service, and the City of Jyväskylä

JKL Motofest 2023 will take place in Killeri's event area (Address: Sykeraitti 3). Vaajakoski VPK and Epic Driving School are responsible for other functional points, of which the first-mentioned point can be used to practice using a fire extinguisher. At the Epic Driving School point, the public can practice driving an electric scooter. You can buy food and drink from the grill kiosk of Jyväskylä Moottoriklubi ry.

Kari Vehniäinen Racing and Juhis Racing are also parts of the event. JKL Motofest has been supported by Kärkkäinen, Barasmainos, and the other parties mentioned above. JKL Miitti, City of Jyväskylä Youth Services, and Jyväskylä Moottoriklubi ry are the organizers of the event. The event has received assistance from the Jyväskylä Youth Council.
