Congresswoman Torres & Congressman Calvert Celebrate the City of Eastvale Being Recognized Under the 92880 Zip Code

Eastvale, CA- Congresswoman Norma J. Torres (CA-35) - who represents the Inland Empire region of Southern California - announced today the United States Postal Service revised the 92880 zip code to accurately register as Eastvale, California starting January 1, 2024. Congresswoman Torres and Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-41) both represent the city of Eastvale in Congress.

Following the news, the lawmakers and city of Eastvale released the following statements:

"When we work together on behalf of Inland Empire families, we can get great things done. When I first began representing Eastvale in Congress earlier this year, I constantly heard from my new constituents about the numerous problems posed by the lack of an accurate zip code for the city. With proper recognition under the 92880 zip code, confusion will be reduced for families, seniors and small businesses. I thank Congressman Calvert and Senator Padilla for partnering with me to secure this change and deliver results for our constituents," said Congresswoman Torres.

"I have been working jointly with the city of Eastvale and my colleagues in Congress to advocate for overdue changes in the way the US Postal Service identifies Eastvale and its Zip Codes. The approval of the last line change in addresses, which will now identify Eastvale as the preferred last line city for the 92880 Zip Code, is a positive step forward for city residents and businesses. I will continue to work with the city and my colleagues to address outstanding Zip Code issues impacting the city," said Congressman Calvert.

"This change not only reflects the growth and vibrancy of our community but also ensures that our residents receive the attention and service they deserve. This redesignation is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our residents, businesses, and local, state, and federal government. As a city, we are proud of this significant milestone and appreciate everyone that made this possible," said Mayor Todd Rigby of the City of Eastvale.

Since the city of Eastvale's incorporation in 2010, the city has been split between two zip codes, 92880 and 91752. Congresswoman Torres and Congressman Calvert earlier this year introduced legislation, H.R. 696, to establish a unique zip code for the city of Eastvale.
