City of Columbia Parking Services Announces a Limited Closure of the PJ Cannon Parking Facility

The City of Columbia Parking Services Department announces a limited closure of the PJ Cannon Parking Facility on Friday, March 8th 6:00P through Monday March 11th at 7:00A.

In addition to previous notifications shared with monthly parkers and local businesses over the last few weeks please note the following; the ground level 1A will be available for public parking as normal, level 1B and above will be inaccessible during this time due to water sealant maintenance of the PJ Cannon Facility located at 1227 Taylor Street.

The scope of the work consists of grinding off the originally installed sealant and applying a three-coat system, which includes a base water sealant coat, and intermediate coat, and top coat. Water sealant maintenance prevents corrosion of the structures internal framework, eliminates leaks between levels as well as extends the service life of the facility.

During this limited closure, the Parking Services Department encourages visitors to utilize one of the other nearby parking options the City offers; Taylor Street Deck, located at 1101 Taylor Street, Washington Street Deck, located at 1100 Washington Street and our Blanding Street Surface Lot, located at 1215 Blanding Street.
