How to watch the BBC Wales Election Debate

Ahead of the General Election on 4 July, the BBC is hosting two prime-time Network TV debates and dedicated debates in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales.

Here's everything you need to know about the Wales Election debate.

When is the BBC Wales Election Debate?

Join Bethan Rhys Roberts for the Wales Election Debate live from Central Square, BBC Wales's broadcast hub in Cardiff, on Friday 21 June from 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

A digital live page will run during the debate offering analysis and reaction and listeners can follow the entire debate live on BBC Radio Wales.

Behind The Scenes at the BBC Wales General Election Debate will be livestreamed from 6.15pm on the BBC Wales News Live Page and on Facebook ahead of the debate. Presented by Catrin Heledd it's designed to give audiences a glimpse behind the scenes as BBC Wales gears up for the debate. There will be interviews with some of the key people working behind the scenes who make a debate of this kind possible.

Claire Summers presents an extended Radio Wales Drive taking listeners up to the start of the debate at 7pm. Then after the debate finishes at 8pm, Carl Roberts hosts a half hour of reaction with guests and analysis from BBC Wales' specialist correspondents.

Wednesday 26 June, Nottingham - Mishal Husain will host a head-to-head debate between Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer. This is set to be the last TV debate of the election campaign, as people prepare to cast their votes the following week. It will be broadcast from 8.15pm-9.30pm.

Friday 28 June - Question Time Leaders' Special featuring Reform UK and The Green Party

Thursday 27 June - Tara Mills will bring key developments into focus as the election campaign nears its end with the Northern Ireland Leaders' Debate on BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC iPlayer.
