Nevada’s Paul Enos Named TAEC Chairman

Arlington, Virginia - Today, the American Trucking Associations announced Nevada Trucking Association CEO Paul Enos has been named chairman of the ATA Trucking Association Executives Council.

'Paul is a dynamo and a true leader in our industry-in Nevada and nationwide,' said John Lynch, ATA senior vice president of federation relations. 'His energy and enthusiasm for this industry is infectious, and TAEC will benefit from his drive and dedication to trucking.'

Since taking over as NTA CEO in 2006, Enos has been a leader in representing the trucking industry. He is a two-time Mike Russell Trucking Image Award winner and has served on the American Transportation Research Institute's Research Advisory Committee, in addition to a number of community organizations. He succeeds Brenda Neville, president and CEO of the Iowa Motor Truck Association, as TAEC Chair.

'It is an honor to represent TAEC as its chairman,' Enos said. 'The ATA Federation draws its strength from the 50 state associations and its affiliates as the boots on the ground, driving our industry's and economy's recovery. I'm looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that being chairman offers.'

In addition, ATA announced that Joe Sculley, president of the Motor Transport Association of Connecticut, will serve as TAEC vice chairman for the year.
