Meeting with the Ambassador of Oman

The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman Wafa Jabr Nasser Albusaidi.

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of Uzbekistan-Omani relations and welcomed the successful holding of the Second Foreign Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue "Central Asia - Gulf Cooperation Council" in Tashkent.

The importance of intensifying political and diplomatic interaction on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international institutions was emphasized. Mutual readiness to take joint measures to effectively use the potential of cooperation in the trade and economic spheres was confirmed.

The schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels and formats, including the next round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries, was discussed.
